A joyful multi-coloured painting which comprises one of three artworks. Dominant colours include deep purples contrasted with strokes of pale yellow, dusky pink and green.

What inspired the artwork?

What really drives you? What are the values which thread their way throughout your life? Confident, successful people know their values - and you should too.  

This painting is part of the series inspired by psychologist Dr. Rob Yeung's book: 'Confidence'.

The painting encourages you to take a moment and think about your values. What words or phrases best capture what you value? On p67, Yeung provides a list of values to choose from. The trick is to start with a long list and then cut back until you have a maximum of three values. Your core values.

The art work features noticeable purple strokes against layers of swirling colours, shapes and marks. These marks represent the core values sitting atop of all the other values which play a part in our life. Once you know what your core values are, think about how they are guiding your life every time you look at the painting.
