ORIGINAL ART WITH LESSONS IN LIVING WELL
ART FOR YOUR HOME
An artwork, like a view, encourages us to 'stand and stare' for a moment. Given how busy our lives are, a piece of art in your home can remind you to pause, slow down and take a breath.
Do you love learning? Perhaps you'd like to be more confident, more productive, or discover the benefits of better listening. Wherever your curiosity takes you, find a lesson in living well.
Find yourself staring at blank walls, or cluttered spaces, at work? Such views won't inspire your best thinking, or your best doing. Curate your space and remind yourself why you do what you do.
Feel like you're trying to do it all. And failing? This set of four original artworks (30 x 30cm on canvas) asks you to choose what to care about and what to let go of.
What inspired these artworks?
Mark Manson's book 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck' is a call to arms. It's not a manifesto about not caring. Quite the opposite. It's about choosing what to care about.
A vibrant set of paintings in teal and pink on a background of deep purple and blue, each one suggests a way to let go.
Let go of caring what other people think, let go of fearing failure, let go of perfection, let go of comparing yourself.
If you are after lasting change, better habits and a better life, try these these exercises for mapping out the process of preparing, and sustaining, change.
Ever wondered how an artist names their work? Read how each Abstraktologie art work is given a specific title and the reason behind naming them in this way.
Anna is a an award-winning artist and graduate of the Glasgow School of Art (BA Hons). She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist (BSc, MSc, CPsychol) and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS). That all sounds very grand.
What does it mean? Anna loves art and is fascinated by people (and REALLY fascinated by people at work).
It's the fusion of these two loves, which prompted her to establish this unique art store: ABSTRAKTOLOGIE.
